Do I need to already be in shape to start?+Absolutely not. Many people come to us looking for structure, accountability, and guidance — not because they already have everything figured out. Our coaching environment is built to help people progress safely and confidently at every level.
What happens during the free intro?+The free intro gives us a chance to learn more about your goals, training history, injuries, and experience level so we can help guide you toward the right starting point within Ascent Performance.
What if I’m dealing with pain or recovering from an injury?+That’s actually one of the things that makes Ascent different. Because our performance environment is connected to our health and rehabilitation team, we can help bridge the gap between recovery and long-term strength training.
Are the classes beginner friendly?+Yes. Our coaching focuses heavily on movement quality, scaling, and long-term progression. You do not need prior gym experience to get started.
What’s the difference between group training and personal training?+Group training provides structure, coaching, and community in a shared environment, while personal training offers more individualized programming and one-on-one guidance based on your goals and needs.
Is this like CrossFit?+Not exactly. While we value strength, conditioning, and functional movement, our approach is more focused on sustainability, coaching quality, movement mechanics, and long-term health rather than competition or intensity for intensity’s sake.
